These illustrations were created in collaboration with Inter Fluve and US Bureau of Recreation to visualize a potential restored trajectory of the Buffalo Flats Floodplain. The project aimed to improve in-channel, riparian, and floodplain habitat health and function through reconnecting creek waters to their floodplains encouraging native vegetation, and promoting hydraulic and geomorphic processes that support ecologic diversity.
